From a Complex Service Catalogue to
a Structured Event Platform
Understanding the client’s business, audience and operational challenges was essential before designing the platform architecture. The project focused on turning a broad catalogue of services and activities into a scalable bilingual system that supports both customer discovery and long-term business growth.
Target audience
Corporate event organisers, HR teams, office managers, schools, municipalities, festival organisers, event agencies and private clients looking for professional team-building activities, game rentals and event services across Canada.
The platform primarily serves organisations in Quebec and Ontario while supporting enquiries from clients throughout the country.

Spiniko is a Canadian event entertainment company specialising in corporate team building, giant game rentals, experiential marketing, school activities and full-service event planning.
Operating from Montreal and Toronto, the company delivers interactive experiences for businesses, educational institutions, municipalities, festivals and agencies across Canada. As the catalogue of games, activities and services continued to grow, Spiniko required a digital platform capable of presenting complex content clearly while supporting bilingual audiences and future expansion.
The Architectural Challenge
Spiniko’s growing catalogue included multiple services, hundreds of activity variations, regional offerings and two language versions.
Traditional static pages made the website increasingly difficult to maintain and limited the team’s ability to expand the catalogue efficiently.
The challenge was to create a structured content architecture that connected services, activities, locations and enquiry paths through reusable templates, dynamic relationships and bilingual content management while keeping the user experience simple and intuitive.

We organised the platform around three connected layers: services, catalogue items and geographic service areas.
Service pages explain the broader solutions Spiniko provides, including team building, game rentals, event planning, experiential marketing and school activities.
Catalogue pages allow visitors to explore individual games and facilitated activities in more detail. Each item can include relevant information such as participant capacity, duration, activity focus, intended audience and event requirements.
Regional pages connect the offer to the locations Spiniko serves, helping visitors understand availability across Ontario, Quebec and the rest of Canada.
These layers work together through dynamic templates, taxonomies, internal links and contextual calls to action, creating a platform that supports both customer discovery and internal content management.

Spiniko’s main services are organised into dedicated content sections for game rentals, team building, event planning, experiential marketing and school activities.
Each service page explains the offer, introduces relevant catalogue items and guides visitors towards a suitable enquiry path.

Team-building activities are managed as structured catalogue entries with information such as participant capacity, duration and activity focus.
Dynamic listing and detail templates allow users to compare activities while giving the Spiniko team a consistent system for adding new programmes.

Unlike standard categories, collections create editorial journeys that help users discover related recipes in a more intentional and engaging way.
Author & Editorial Hub
The author section establishes Marco’s expertise as both an Italian chef and a pharmacist.
It connects his culinary background, teaching approach and existing content audience with the website, strengthening trust and supporting the platform’s editorial authority.

The visual system reflects Spiniko’s playful and energetic brand while maintaining the clarity expected by corporate, education and public-sector clients.
Large imagery, expressive typography and bold content sections communicate the scale and atmosphere of Spiniko events. At the same time, consistent cards, metadata blocks and content hierarchies make a large catalogue easier to scan.
Reusable design components were created for service cards, activity listings, game catalogues, regional sections, related services, calls to action and enquiry forms.
The layouts remain visually dynamic without requiring each activity or service page to be designed independently.

The website was developed with WordPress, Bricks Builder, Advanced Custom Fields, custom post types and Polylang.
Structured fields store information about services, games and team-building activities separately from their visual presentation. Bricks templates retrieve this content dynamically and display it through reusable layouts.
Custom post types and taxonomies organise catalogue items by service, audience, activity type and other relevant attributes. Dynamic queries automatically populate listings and related-content sections.
Polylang manages the English and French versions of the website, including translated pages, navigation, templates and structured content relationships.
Custom PHP and JavaScript support dynamic output, interface interactions, catalogue behaviour and specialised functionality that could not be handled through standard builder settings alone.

The technical foundation combines WordPress, Bricks Builder, Advanced Custom Fields and custom PHP functionality.
Custom post types separate recipes, ingredients and collections into manageable content structures. Dynamic templates control how these content types are displayed, while taxonomies and relationships support browsing, contextual navigation and related content.
Custom functionality was implemented for structured ingredient lists, ingredient-based recipe discovery, dynamic FAQ content, recipe schema, specialised search behaviour and contextual content output.
